Efficiency is a big ticket for automakers these days, and not many mainstream automakers have gotten to the level that Toyota has with hybrid technology. The Prius family, in particular, is immensely popular with its innovative hybrid drive power train. The most efficient, however, is the Plug-in variant, which gets a combined 50 mpge.
