Every year Consumer Reports puts together a list of what they consider to be the cars with the best value on the market. They take a number of different vehicle aspects into consideration like saftey ratings, fuel economy, features and price. Today we are happy to report that the Toyota Prius has once again been named best value by CR.
This makes it the second year in a row that the Prius has taken top honors. That in itself is a great achievement. One of the main things the analysts at Consumer Reports looked at was the overall ownership cost of a Prius over a five year period. What they determined was that the Prius would cost owners around 47 cents a mile. Think off all the gas money you could save with fuel efficiency that good.
