From now until November 19, 2013, Toyota is garnering votes in their "100 Cars for Good" program, which gives readers the option of choosing from a list of 250 charitable organizations that are in need of a new vehicle. Over a 50-day period, Toyota will draw five finalists daily and select two of them to receive a new Toyota vehicle. By the end of the 50 days, Toyota will have given away 100 new vehicles to the organizations voted on by you. They have distributed 200 new cars since they began this program two years ago.

In the past, Toyota has delivered a new Tundra to the non-profit organization Together We Rise. This group delivers bicycles to foster children in the Chino, California area. Their only transportation was an old truck that ran the risk of overheating every time it was driven. With their new Toyota Tundra, they are able to deliver 400 bicycles a trip because they can now tow a 26-foot trailer behind the truck.

It is up to you to help Toyota choose the next winners. You can vote daily at www.100carsforgood.com for your favorite non-profit organization. Those that are selected as the winners will have a choice between a new Toyota Sienna, Tundra, Prius, Highlander or Sienna Mobility. Each vehicle comes with a Toyota six-year powertrain warranty. Non-profit organizations that are in the running but do not win a vehicle will be awarded $1,000 from Toyota to further their causes.

After you vote, come by and see us at Charlie's Toyota in Augusta, ME, and we will show you the new vehicles that Toyota is giving away to their winners. Toyota is making each community a better place by helping local non-profit organizations succeed.
