You’ve seen it: the grit, determination and strength on an athlete’s face when they push themselves to the limit. If you’ve ever watched the Paralympic Games, you’ve seen these attributes magnified. Most of us have a hard time imagining the physical and mental strength it takes to compete in sports like fencing, sprinting, biking and hockey. Imagine doing any of these sports without a limb?

Toyota is proud to announce that it has become a sponsor of the Paralympics through the year 2024.

The red-tailed hawk (Buteo jamaicensis) is not an endangered species. In fact, if you've ever looked up and seen a circling hawk, we can guess with a high degree of confidence that it was a red-tail.

However, just because they're common doesn't mean that a nature-loving corporation like Toyota will ignore their plight when a pair nests on a dangerous utility pole at the Toyota Arizona Proving Grounds (TAPG).

Employees at TAPG were worried right away when these beautiful hawks took up residence on a pole carrying high-voltages. They were delighted, but worried.
